The official starting signal for the degree program of medicine in Pleven was already given at the beginning of this week for our students – and many other international students from all over the world. The Medical University Pleven has invited the new students for an orientation week, as every year, where also our study advisors accompanied the MSA Freshmen on site, helped them will all organizational matters and organized meetings for them, so that the students were able to get know each other better.
We all know the feeling of new and unfamiliar situations: they make you worry and they trigger discomfort and inner stress, because you do not know what to expect. This was not the case with our students, since our study advisors, who visit the university regularly, have welcomed the students on site at the start of the summer semester and helped them to orientate themselves quickly, to manage all organizational matters and to quickly adapt to their new home and surroundings. Almost every day, meetings with realtors made it really easy for the students to find a flat near the university.
Following the MSA tradition, also this year all students and their company (parents, relatives, etc.) were invited for a bowling and pizza evening to the popular “Galaxy Bowling” in Pleven. There, the students got to know each other and made new friends while bowling and eating in a casual atmosphere.
At the upcoming weekend, the students can explore the university library and familiarize themselves with the information and loan system there, so that there is nothing in the students’ way for a smooth beginning of the lectures! We wish everyone for their future a great time in Pleven and a successful medical training.
