Study Medicine at the Medical University Pleven Next Summer Semester

For everyone, who did not get a university place in their home country for the last winter semester –but do not want to wait any longer – the Medical University Pleven in Bulgaria is the right university, because there you can start your studies in the summer semester, so already in February. The university has all facilities needed for the pre-clinical and clinical phases of medical studies and offers a degree, which is recognized in Europe, in the USA and many other countries.

Many international students from more than 30 different countries of the world have already completed their medical studies at the Medical University Pleven in Bulgaria. Currently, all in all almost 15% of all students at the university are international students. You will be able to meet students from Germany, the USA, Spain, France, Great Britain, Japan etc. – so it will be a very multicultural experience!

At the Medical University Pleven in Bulgaria, you will get in touch with different teaching methods: Theoretical lectures, practical lectures and tutorials in small groups. Beyond that, students can attend extracurricular courses and scientific groups operating at the different departments. The learning groups at the university are limited to six students at most. Assistance professors of the university are responsible for monitoring and assessing the current scientific knowledge of the students for each subject, since they are leading the learning groups. By doing this, they can give individual and targeted support for the students. The exams are taking place at the end of each semester. At the end of the whole degree program, there will be a theoretical and practical examination, similar to a state examination.
