The Degree Program in Medicine
At the Humanitas University in Milan, you can study medicine within 6 years. Due to the perfect location in the hospital, a particularly close connection to the practice is guaranteed. Beyond that, several tutors are available for the students, so that one tutor is responsible for only 2-3 students. Studying medicine in Italy is going to take place in English. From the 3rd year on the clinical phase will start. The degree program is adjusted to the Bologna process and therefore has standardized 360 ECTS during the 12 semesters. At the end of the program, you will get the title „Laurea Magistrale in Medicina Generale e Chirurgia“ = „Doctor of Medicine and Surgery“, which is recognized in Europe, the USA and many other countries. After your studies you are entitled to work as a doctor in a medical office or in a clinic.
New Campus of the Hunimed
Currently a new campus is being built for the university near the Humanitas hospital. More than 20 million euro have been invested for it. The entire property is 60.000 square meters big. Many new facilities are built there: classrooms for lectures and classes in small groups, learning corners for individual students and groups, a dormitory, a gym, recreational spaces, laboratories, a cafeteria and a canteen.
