The University Clinics
The university has two university hospitals, the “Medical University of Białystok Clinical Hospital“ and the “Medical University of Białystok Children’s Clinical Hospital“. Both clinics are the biggest clinics of the entire Podlaskie region. They offer a broad health care and include the most important educational and research facilities for the medical students. Both hospitals are located right behind the Branicki Palace, in which the medical faculty is located, and are thus part of the campus, on which you can find student dormitories and a sports center besides the university facilities.
The university hospitals are very prestigious and equipped with the newest technology available. Recently, the Medical University of Białystok Clinical Hospital opened an emergency department, including a helipad, which is the most modern of its kind in the entire region.
