- Students learn on a multimedia campus of approx. 4,500 m² with barrier-free lecture, seminar and administration rooms and laboratories. The campus was completely re-equipped in 2018 and offers the latest medical technology, including a virtual 3D anatomy and dissection table – one of the most modern pieces of technology for visualizing and illustrating the human anatomy.
- The courses are taught in English. The practical part will take place in German and in German teaching hospitals.
- It is not necessary to complete a pre-study internship in advance.
- Teaching at the campus in Hamburg and during the internships takes place in small study groups. Due to the excellent supervision, students are in close contact with their respective lecturers. This ensures excellent medical training and intensive personal support.
- The University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Targu Mures has over 70 years of experience in the medical education of students. Numerous German graduates have already graduated there. Since UMCH is a branch of the Romanian university, it is based on university structures that have been established for decades.
- From the very first year, students can choose from a wide range of electives, e.g.: history of medicine, clinical anatomy, alternative medicine, allergology, interventional cardiology, pain therapy, neurosurgery or clinical homeopathy.
- Physical education is part of the curriculum; hence the campus cooperates with various nearby sports facilities.
