International students, studying at the University of Szeged, are very satisfied with the degree programs, the lessons and the facilities of the university. Just recently, this was officially proven by an award for “very good international student satisfaction” by an international study portal.
All in all, 15,000 students worldwide have voted in this election. With the help of all these ratings, it is possible to assess the performance of the university from the student’s point of view and their satisfaction only. On the platform, the university ranked with 8+ out of 10 possible points. Determining areas of the evaluation were: the scientific and pedagogical work and performance of the university, the international social life among the students, the student services and the daily life in Szeged in general.

„The University of Szeged is a quality institution with interesting degree programs, helpful lecturers and a lot of international students.”
„The social life in the city is great. Szeged is not a big city, but full with young people, thanks to the university and its students. Besides the international students, there are also many Erasmus students, so that the social life and the relationships among the students are the best experiences there.”
„I really enjoyed the lessons there. This was mostly because we always had very small classes (max. 10-15 students) and the lessons were a lot more interactive than in my home country.”
“Especially for students from the West European countries, the prices are comparably cheap (especially the rent, alcohol and restaurants). The prices in the supermarkets nevertheless are similar to the ones in Germany. I would recommend buying groceries on the local markets, since it is much cheaper and more interesting.”
